SSM qualifications are assessed by a combination of methods. Practical skills tests are undertaken in real life situations (or via simulated situations) and exams are held twice per year in May and November

If you’re taking exams, it’s important to be organised and prepare well in advance. This means planning your study and revision carefully, as well as understanding what is required of you and using good exam techniques.
