Why join as a student?

Selling and sales management, marketing, retail management and international trade and services are the four main areas of selling. The Society offers recognised, formal qualifications in these fields to enable you to be proficient at your job.

As selling is the cornerstone of our very existence, as a country, it is imperative that we know the techniques of selling.

Becoming a member would appeal to those who want to get on in life. After all, in our daily lives, we come face-to-face with people, we talk to them and may have to persuade them to our way of thinking, in the same way as we do in selling products and services.

All this is salesmanship, an art we all have to learn about and develop. Becoming a member is therefore imperative.

We can offer you a wide range of services to help you throughout your studies and beyond.

As a student member you will be able to upgrade your membership to Graduate level on completion of your course and use the letters GSSM after your name.
